EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS
Throughout my career, I have tried to integrate technology into my teaching. I started teaching online courses in 1996 and have continued to do this since. In recent years, I have specifically made use of the Internet and media in presenting content and engaging students in course material. I have made twenty-four short instructional videos, all of which are available by clicking here.
A sample of these videos follow.

Blending with Purpose: The Multimodal Model
The purpose of this video is to introduce a blending with purpose multimodal conceptual model for designing and developing blended learning courses and programs. A blended learning model is presented that suggests that instruction be designed to meet the needs of a variety of learners. Specifically, Blending with Purpose: The Multimodal Model recognizes that because learners represent different generations, different personality types, and different learning styles, teachers and instructional designers should seek to use multiple approaches including face-to-face methods and online technologies that address the learning needs of a wide spectrum of students. |
