A multimedia program incorporating video from The American Social History Project's Who Built America? series with other video, images, and text to teach about immigrant women working in the garment industry ("sweatshops") of New York City in the early 1900s.

"The Five Points."
Brier, S., Brown, J., Eynon, B., and Picciano, A.G. (1991). A multimedia program incorporating video from the American Social History Project's Who Built America? series with other video, images, and text to teach about Irish immigrant life in New York City in the 1850s. This program was selected to be part of several exhibits including a national exhibit entitled "New Learning Technologies" held in San Diego, California and sponsored by IBM in June, 1992.
